August Mock Exam – Some Progress But …
August 16, 2008
As you might have read in ‘My Method’ posts, in the middle of every month I do my Nivel Inicial mock exam. The August one was fine, yet far from a dream one.
This time as my mock exam I did the official Nivel Inicial test from August 2007. I must admit that it was generally not extremely difficult, yet Listening was a bit tricky. However, Reading and Spanish In Use were quite easy.
So here’s my updated Nivel Inicial graph:

Well you wouldn’t have passed the exam if it had been a real one. You need to get at least 70% in each section of DELE. It seems you did well in June and July though.
Erm.. why don’t you include the writing section? You can always post a piece of writing on a Spanish-English board and ask for poiting the mistakes.
Here are some nice urls worth visiting:

@ Rafael
Big thanks for the comment!
‘You need to get at least 70% in each section of DELE’
Are you sure? Could you add a link to the source of this info?
BTW I got 68% of Listening – is it really fail? 2% difference?
I am going to prepare even harder for these three months. I noticed that November tests are quite tricky.
